Blueshift Announces the Opening of New Facilities
Sunnyvale, CA - May 1st, 2006 Blueshift Biotechnologies, Inc. announced their move to a an expanded facility within Silicon Valley. The new facility offers 9100 sg ft of space including Class 10,000 manufacturing and a full cell biology and applications development lab. "We are excited to expand our ability to meet the requirements of our customers." Said Evan Cromwell, President of Blueshift Biotechnologies. "This high quality laboratory, R&D, and manufacturing space will allow us to continue to grow and expand our product offering."
The move comes following the recent closing of a Series B investment. The new facility will provide the space needed to accommodate Blueshift's rapid growth since it's founding in 2003. The first product, the IsoCyteª , was launched at the beginning of 2005. The instrument is a bench top fluorescence laser scanning imager with the unique ability to generate two-dimensional anisotropy data shown to enable the imaging of FRET in live cells at high throughput screening rates.
